Transforming the world by offering hope to those exploited through human trafficking in the Triangle area of North Carolina.
We strive to educate the general public on the issue of domestic human trafficking. We work with children and families in the community to prevent domestic human trafficking. We help to restore the lives of those who have been affected by domestic human trafficking.
Transforming Hope exists because hearts are enslaved and Jesus can set them free. (John 10:10)
our core beliefs
Every human being deserves unconditional, individual love and support. Each person deserves to truly be seen and embraced. Transforming Hope works to do this through the Holy Spirit's guidance and authority and as a team of individuals passionate about loving others well and fighting for justice for ALL people in our city and around the world.
Transforming Hope is a faith-driven, public nonprofit organization, unaffiliated with any one particular church or denomination, but intentionally partners with individuals, churches, and other organizations in both the faith and non-religious sectors.
We believe in, as LA-based Homeboy Industries' Founder Gregory Boyle states in his book Tattoos on the Heart, "the God of second chances; the God of the spacious and expansive heart; the God who loves us without measure and without regret; the God who casts His lot with those excluded, hoping for greater inclusion for them." Transforming Hope Ministries is not about any religion; it's about God's own dream come true: "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10b NIV)
